Erika Teoman-Brenner, M.A., Head of Advantage Austria
Erika Teoman-Brenner completed a law degree at the University of Graz, followed by postgraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna, Italy, where she earned a master´s degree in international public policy.
After Ms Teoman-Brenner joined Advantage Austria, the Foreign Trade Department of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, she was posted to the Austrian Trade Commission in New York as Assistant Trade Commissioner. This was followed by an assignment to Rome, Italy, as Deputy Trade Commissioner.
Subsequently, Ms Teoman-Brenner chose to return to the Vienna headquarters, where she was in charge of the Publications and Information Division within the foreign trade department. In 2000, Ms Teoman-Brenner again took up a foreign assignment as Head of Advantage Austria (Consul for Commercial Affairs) in Istanbul, Türkiye.
In 2008, Ms Teoman-Brenner moved to Budapest, Hungary, where she served for 7 years as Commercial Counsellor and Head of Advantage Austria Budapest. Between 2015 and 2022, Ms Teoman-Brenner held the position of Head of Advantage Austria Belgrade, covering Serbia, the Republic of North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
