Velin Karchev is a Machine Building and Logistics Engineer with more than ten years of professional experience in an international organization.

Mr Karchev joined GS1 Bulgaria in 2014, which is one of 116 GS1 member organizations worldwide.

GS1 is a neutral, not-for-profit, international entity developing and maintaining global standards. Within GS1 Bulgaria, Mr Karchev is responsible for the sector of T&L, Barcode quality and verification, GDSN and trainings.

Moreover, he actively took part in the setting of the CRM system, product catalogue and mobile app BG Barcode. Among his other professional interests are Automatic Identification and Data Capture – AIDC and Retail.
