Michael Themessl, MA, is senior advisor in the department for Service management and ICT in the federal Austrian Economic Chamber (AFEC). He studied political science (University of Vienna) and security management (University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt). After completing a trainee program in the European Parliament in Brussels Mag. Themessl started his career as junior advisor in the Economic Policy Department in the Carinthian Economic Chamber in Klagenfurt and secretary general of Junior Chamber Carinthia. After 7 years he returned to Vienna to the federal Austrian Economic Chamber as senior advisor in the department of strategy. During the latest years he is working in the department Servicemanagement and ICT as project manager for several projects, e.g. service platform Mein WKO – WKO.at or the cooperation platform Kooperationsbörse | WKO Firmen A-Z . Since 2021 he is leading the working group for sustainability in the AFEC and editor of the website “sustainability  concerns us all”  Nachhaltigkeit geht uns alle an – WKO.at . Themessl is graduate of the course sustainability management (INCITE consulting academy Vienna 2022).
