Social enterprise Radanska Ruža was founded in 2015 as a non-profit enterprise through the EU program with the aim of employing women from marginal groups in the municipality of Lebane. The company Radanska RUŽA works primarily with women from marginalized groups (women with disabilities, single mothers, women younger than

30 and older than 50 years…), who process fruits and vegetables in a traditional way, according to the folk recipe and the principles of good housewives. What was produced decades ago in the kitchens of housewives in the south of Serbia, was transferred to the company’s production facility, that is, a large communal kitchen. Zimnica is produced without preservatives and other additives, it is pasteurized by heat treatment and packed in glass packaging.

In almost 9 years of existence, the company has become recognizable for its products in Serbia.

In 2018, we started primary organic production, and in 2019, the production of finished organic products. We currently export our entire organic production to EU markets and we are the largest exporter of organic ajvar in Serbia with over 70,000 jars of this product.

The company employs 12 women in the off-season, and as many in the season. We have over 20 subcontractors.

Our goal is further promotion of social enterprises and further increase in the number of employed women who belong to marginal groups, further activation of small non-commercial farms in the production of conventional and organic raw materials, promotion of young people from rural areas to be actively involved in production, further activation of women subcontractors of social enterprises.
