10 years Berlin Process - The Western Balkans as an economic area on the way to the EU

The participating SMEs at the Business Forum: “10 years Berlin Process – The Western Balkans as an economic area on the way to the EU” and in B2B meetings on September 24th in Berlin have successfully undergone the Technical Assistance program for entering the European and global markets, receiving support to place their products in the EU, with a focus on the German market.

The program was implemented within the framework of the Project: EU support to WB6 CIF for the Development of a Common Regional Market – 2024/454-229”, Co-funded by the European Union.

The business delegation of 25 SMEs will be accompanied by the WB6 CIF Managing Board.

Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF) is a joint initiative of chambers of commerce and industry from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, which represents the interests of more than 350,000 companies, in its mission to connect the business community of the region and to provide a joint voice to region’s businesses.

A delegation of 25 SMEs from the WB6 economies, in the sectors of infrastructure, agriculture, and automotive including metal, plastic, and textile will participate in the Business Forum: “10 years Berlin Process – The Western Balkans as an economic area on the way to the EU” and in B2B meetings, held as a side session within the framework of the Business Forum, in Berlin on September 24th, 2024.

The focus of the Business Forum, organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action with the support of the German Eastern Business Association (OA), the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), and the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF), is the Common Regional Market- 10 years Berlin Process and the Energy and Climate Protection, focusing on the green transformation as an opportunity for the Western Balkans.

Building robust partnerships, exploring new market potentials, and exchanging expertise across the mentioned sectors, while providing an ideal platform to find business partners, present investment opportunities, and establish joint supply chains, are the goals of the B2B meetings for the participating companies.
